Which Lightweight Double Pushchair Should You Buy?
A light double pushchair is easy to get around, particularly when you have children of different age groups. They are generally easy to steer, fold and carry up and down stairs.

Tandem double pushchairs are light and lightweight. They typically make tighter turns than side-by-side models however they are more challenging to drive over uneven surfaces and curbs. They can also be slightly slower to speed up and are heavier to move, which could put stress on your back.
Another option is a convertible double buggy which starts off as an individual and then you add adapters to turn it into a double. These can include an additional seat or carrycot in front or the kids can be seated side-by-side. Some also have the option to add buggy boards that can aid older children keep up with a younger sibling.
